Superb experience exceeded expectations we look forward to going again. We had a great chat with the brand manager. Luckily for us the Owner happened to be there & he kindly showed us some of the new areas like the private dining space and the all new cellar, wine cheese event space opening soon. Everyone was very gracious. Brilliant bloody Mary’s one of the best. Breakfast was the finest. Reception team also notable. Looking forward to our next visit. Julian & Kelvin Lloyd-Roberts

The four-course tasting menu was exceptional, the decor charming and unique, and the idyllic gardens and walking paths added a peaceful, enchanting touch. A friendly and refined luxury experience from start to finish! Thank you!

Fantastic experience. From the friendly and professional welcome to the moment we left the staff were fantastic. Compliments to lease team for setting such a good culture and standard. This is a beautiful hotel with spectacular restaurant. Tasting menu was one of the very best I have had anywhere. Staff knowledgeable and friendly without any arrogance or patronising behaviour. First class! Really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back.

My wife & i stayed here for 2 days for our annual vacation. Was immediately greeted by friendly concierge Shannon, who quickly assisted in unloading our huge suitcases, parked our car and even arranged to charge our EV battery. The drive to this location was definitely scenic, though the twisty narrow roads made it slightly challenging. When we arrived at the compound, we were mesmerized by the view, well-groomed landscape and the beautiful mansion. Condition of mansion and room was excellent despite being built in the 1880s. What surprised me was that the food offered here was excellent and tasty. Not your typical small and tepid fine dining food. Andrew (FB Manager) and his crew took care of our insatiable appetite and made sure we were well fed throughout our stay. Do sign up for the exquisite tasting menu, option for 4 / 6 courses. 4 course for me was sufficient. Room was generous in size and well- decorated, clean and complete with all amenities that we would ever need. The only complaint that i had was that the rooms were not equipped with AC and it was about 30c during our stay. The team although did their best and supplied us with 2 fans to keep us as comfortable as they possibly could. Overall lovely experience, the beautiful facility and the warm hospitality of the staffs definitely grants them 5*. Well done and we hope to revisit in the near future.

Can't fault the surroundings, beautiful building and area. Door staff were very welcoming, but after this felt the service was a little lacking. We went for afternoon tea and being the last table seated for the afternoon, staff made us feel that they were waiting for us to finish. Food was beautifully presented, but not to our taste as the sweet items were very sweet. Coffees took a long time to arrive and were lukewarm at best and cake stands were removed from the table the moment that the last dessert item was removed, again making us feel that we were being rushed Not terrible, but it's the little touches and service that make it 5 star and we were just made to feel uncomfortable.
